11/3/2009 - LOCAL REALTOR, BARBARA LACH, RECEIVES RPAC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD COLUMBUS, Ohio, (November 3, 2009) – Barbara Lach, a sales associate with Coldwell Banker King Thompson Upper Arlington/Clintonville/Grandview office, was awarded the 2009 Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award. In 2001, the RPAC Achievement Award was established to annually recognize a Realtor who showcased outstanding commitment to the Ohio Association of Realtors and to Realtors Political Action Committee. “I’m excited to see Barbara awarded such a wonderful honor,” said Jerry White, executive vice president of Coldwell Banker King Thompson. “Barbara has an unwavering commitment and dedication to the profession, the Ohio Association of Realtors, and the local community. She is most deserving of the Achievement Award." Barbara was the 2008 district vice president of the National Association of Realtors and is the past national president of the Women's Council of Realtors. She is also the past president of the Ohio Association of Realtors and the Columbus Board of Realtors and has served as chairman of numerous OAR and local board committees. Barbara has been in the real estate profession for many years, and has dedicated her career to improving the real estate industry and profession for all real estate practitioners. She is a strong supporter of RPAC, and for several years, has contributed to RPAC at the highest lever, the Golden R Level, and is a President’s Circle Member. Barbara is also a member of the National Association of Realtors RPAC Hall of Fame.
